Technology entries sought for Irish Healthcare Awards 2009
(Thursday 18th June 2009) The Irish Medical Times is seeking entries for the ‘Best Use of IT in Healthcare’ for the annual Irish Healthcare Awards. The prestigious awards will take place on 15th October in Dublin and the closing date for entries is 7th August 2009. The awards began in 2002 and have attracted increasing number of entries from individuals and groups across Ireland.
Companies and organisations that develop innovative IT solutions which are applicable in healthcare delivery are invited to send an outline of their services and products into the panel of judges. Interested parties can obtain an entry brochure at the contact details below.
Last year’s winner of the Best Use of Information Technology award was the Technology Research for Independent Living Clinic, Trinity College Dublin/St. James’s Hospital. The TRIL Clinic was created as a clinical research platform to test and inform the development of new technologies aimed at maintaining and enhancing the independent living of older people.
