Following on from our highly successful event last March the theme of September’s Bizcamp Dublin will be ‘Entrepreneurs healing the Economy’.
Amongst a day of short presentations, the day-long conference will also feature a panel discussion on ‘Surviving business in troublesome times’ with real-life stories from entrepreneurs on how they coped with difficult trading circumstances in the past and the effect it had on both their personal and business lives.
Entrepreneur Keith Bohanna (founder of www.dbtwang.com) is one of Bizcamp Dublin’s voluntary organisers, he is calling on anyone interested in becoming their own boss to jump on board. “The last Bizcamp Dublin, back in March, booked out weeks before the event itself leading us to seek a bigger venue. This time around were at the Guinness Store House so we’ve more then doubled our capacity and can accommodate up to 400 delegates. Again, this networking, sharing and learning event is completely free of charge – all you need to do is register your attendance at www.bizcamp.ie.”
“Bizcamp’s roots as an international movement were initially planted in the tech community, attracting those involved in the software, internet and IT industries. We would like Bizcamp Dublin to encompass all industries and sectors and with that in mind we are extending a special invitation to those involved in non-tech businesses and those who may have been recently unemployed and want to start their own enterprise”
Bizcamp is based on the Barcamp concept, which has now spread to every continent in the world. What’s different about Bizcamp Dublin is, unlike Barcamp, it caters for all sectors of business. The aim is to get entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs together, in a positive atmosphere, to share their knowledge and experience and learn from each other.
Remember – Bizcamp is FREE to attend! All you need to do is register at www.bizcamp.ie/register
