The National Craft Gallery has unveiled its new look website created by Pixel Design, complete with new logo identity designed by Creative Inc. The redesigned website offers a colourful new aesthetic with improved functionality and navigation.
Large visuals showcase the beautiful craft on exhibition while the improved navigation makes it even easier for online visitors to access resources and content.
New additions to the website include a ‘What’s on’ listing which highlights upcoming gallery events at a glance. Videos are also embedded to support the current exhibitions (this month you can learn how to make a coil pot) whilst a new online calendar allows you to plan your next visit to the National Craft Gallery to coincide with an activity, event, workshop or talk.
Current, future, past and touring exhibitions are listed allowing visitors to revisit their favourite exhibitions or catch then at their next gallery destination. With accessibility being the key both online and offline; the National Craft Gallery’s new website features a resource learning section for adults, families and schools including a free download education kit for Senior Cycle students ‘Leaving Certificate Art Appreciation at the National Craft Gallery’.
Visit the National Craft Gallery online at www.nationalcraftgallery.ie or in person at Castle Yard, Kilkenny.
The updated website is supported by Fáilte Ireland’s Cultural Insights Initiative.
