Data Electronics is the only company in the Irish marketplace that integrates countrywide data centre services with field services to offer one-stop IT outsourcing and is the first hosting services provider in Ireland to receive VMware certification. In November 2007, Data Electronics announced investment of €25m in the expansion of a new 100,000 sq ft facility in Ballycoolin, the first phase of which is due to be completed by the end of the year. In the past five years the company has grown its staff base by 20 per cent. Its Network Operation Centre (NOC) can monitor and support businesses 24×7 for a fraction of the cost a company would face recreating this facility in their own operation.
