AIB Merchant Services (www.aibms.com), a merchant acquiring joint venture between First DataCorporation and Allied Irish Banks p.l.c. announced that it won an award at the prestigious Merchant
Payment Eco System Awards on Thursday 23rd February. The Award for AIBMS Authinsight was achieved in the Information Award category.

Authinsight is an electronic data analysis and reporting solution developed by AIB Merchant Services for high volume customers operating in particular ecommerce sectors. This service provides key additional insight into the reasons why there are high levels of declines on card transactions. It enables these customers to reduce their decline rates, thereby increasing sales revenues. The service comprises a monthly set of reports and includes a module through which customers are fed additional real time granular data in relation to declined transactions.
The Merchant Payment Ecosystem Awards (MPE Awards) are the successor to the prestigious ECAF Awards. The awards recognise the best performers and innovators in the payment acceptance arena, companies that have significantly contributed to the development of in-store, online and mobile payment acceptance in Europe and worldwide. The judging panel included leading experts in thepayments field from Spain, Germany and the UK.
