We received the Eurolink newsletter in the post recently and one item in particular caught my attention. I thought it might interest some of you too.
“60 Ideas for Europe
As part of the celebrations of the 60th anniversaty of the Congress of Europe (1948-2008), the European Movement International has launched a blog called “60 ideas for Europe” to collect EU citizens’ ideas on the future of Europe. You are invited to share your suggestions at http://speakup-europe.blogactiv.eu/ on what could be done, improved or chaged within the European Union.
The best 60 ideas selected will be published and discussed by key EU politicians during the Congress of Europe to be held in The Hague on the 23-24 May. The debate will be broadcast live across Europe.”
Maybe it’s more like a red rag to a bull. If you do contribute please add a link in the comments below. And good luck!
