Quiknets.com, an Irish social network, can be cloned under your brand and management, very quickly. You can then join up your staff , clients, key stakeholders in a private web network.
Quiknets.com, owned by Irish company Herbert Street Technologies Ltd, is an Irish-made social network, where members have their own "seat" in cyberspace, which they can remotely control from any PC, using Internet Explorer. From their seats, they can manage online documents and communicate and share files, messages and chat with other members. They can also access any web-based resources, news, games, webmail, etc- whatever their network administrator decides to provide. They can upload documents to other members directly- or to any email address anywhere- or right-click and send a document to anywhere from the members Private Box, already online. They can also click to set up a "workspace"- a shared folder, in effect, and then they designate which other members should have access to that workspace and the documents and messages within it. Each workspace also has its own dedicated "chat" channel.
A typical network could have thousands of members, with some shared interest or connection. For example, it could be based
on some company, and include its staff, clients, suppliers, etc. or it could be some other shared-interest grouping, such as a society, football club, holiday home share system, etc.
Privacy is assured by login passwords and internal acess control lists- set up by members themselves- in front of every shared space. In addition, Quiknets will soon integrate a new encryption system, under members' control, so that all documents and messages can be selectively encrypted and decipherable only by intended users. The system is inherently spam-free and free of most Internet-borne viruses. All data resides in a data center operated by Verizon in Dublin.
Quiknets offers itself for "cloning" to third parties. Within a matter of days- even hours, you can have your own network, under your own brand and your own management. Most of the Home page can be edited by you--in a very easy text and image editing system- and you can choose your selection of existing features. You can manage the system yourself- or Quiknets will
do it for you if you prefer- and decide who should be members and what rights they should have as contributors.
Quiknets is based on GroupFactor technology developed and managed in Ireland by Herbert Street Technologies Ltd., at Dublin 406 3685. (Or send a message to ContactUs on Quiknets)
