DataBackup are delighted to today up the ante, with the introduction of our new DBV Backup Appliance which is currently being introduced into all direct customers sites, as well as being included with all new online backup sales.

The Backup Appliance will give our customers the advantage of holding their information locally, on an encrypted device for quicker local recovery of files, aswell as being backed off site to our Site A and Site B Irish Data Centres.

The Appliance will be fully Managed and Supported by DataBackup.ie’s support team and as always online backup reports are proactively monitored from our Dublin HQ.

DBV BACKUP Appliance

  • 250 GB to 8 Terra bytes of storage
  • Fully Encrypted by AES 256 bit
  • Fully Synchronization with our online backup software
  • Compression included (approx 4 to 1 ratio)
  • DBV BACKUP appliance will be backed up twice by our online backup software to SITE A and SITE B
  • Data Centres are in Ireland and are ISO certified
  • Data Protection Guarantees available
