Boylesports added to the Company’s growing gaming portfolio

Realex Payments announced today that they have added Boylesports to its growing portfolio. The deal involves Realex Payments providing payment processing for Boylesports across a variety of channels, products, currencies, regions and card types.

Michael Bent, Finance Director at Boylesports said ‘’Realex Payments has a strong and growing reputation in the gaming space for delivering reliable, cost effective and innovative payment processing solutions. Payment processing is key to our business and we see Realex Payments as a long term partner, who will support our ambitious growth plans by delivering best of breed technology and service.’’

Commenting on the deal, Realex Payments Founder and CEO Colm Lyon said “The gaming sector has experienced considerable growth over the past decade and as a result operators now seek a partnership approach when implementing a payments solution. Realex Payments recently celebrated a decade in business and just recently announced that its subsidiary company, Carapay, was awarded a Payments Institution licence. Carapay is the first company to be awarded the licence under the Payment Service Directive, and is an online payment account or payment instrument. Carapay will launch in early 2011.
