The Educational Company of Ireland are very proud to have won the Best eLearning Award for www.edcoDigital.ie at the annual Digital Media Awards. The eLearning Award recognises the provision of unique interactive learning experiences, demonstrating innovation and excellence in the use of digital technology to deliver e-learning.
The Awards took place on the 25th February 2010, with Guest of Honour Eamon Ryan TD, Minister for Communication, Energy & Natural Resources.
edcodigital.ie was launched to schools in 2009 and is an Online eLearning Platform for teachers in Primary and Post Primary schools. The platform allows teachers to view and interact with a range of textbooks in a digital format and access to a wide range of teacher-friendly curriculum focused resources, which aim to enhance the teaching and learning process.
The Digital Media Awards presents awards in twenty one categories to various projects, companies and organisations. The winner is those who produce the most stylish, creative and pioneering work in their field.
