DV4, the world-class digital media and Internet solutions company, has completed a significant new website for Gala, the convenience store retailer which has over 300 outlets nationwide.
The contemporary website, www.gala.ie, features information about the company and reflects Gala’s new branding proposition, which has been implemented to mark the fact that the company is celebrating ten years in business this year.
The Gala website also includes an extranet, which offers a host of useful online resources such as interactive video presentations, print applications, recipes and market information which can assist Gala management and retailers in their day to day marketing and sales activities.
The innovative print application developed by DV4 allows individual Gala retailers to print out customised pricing and promotional labels from pre-designed templates. This tool has resulted in significantly faster and more cost-effective printing solutions for the company. The interactive presentation tool created by DV4, meanwhile, combines video, audio, high resolution graphics and a modular navigation interface which will assist Gala in the recruitment of new franchisees for their expanding nationwide network of retailers.
DV4 is currently working on an interactive recipe book for the Gala website and will also provide ongoing website support over the next 12 months to assist the continued growth of the company.
DV4 has also redesigned the T.G.I Friday’s and Leisureplex websites and developed a completely new website for the Italian restaurant chain Dante’s Pizza, which are all part of the EE Group.
The T.G.I Friday’s and Leisureplex websites have been given a fresh new look by DV4, with quirky extras such as an interactive cocktail assistant on www.fridays.ie and a ‘Birthday Club’ membership system on www.leisureplex.ie.
For Dante’s Pizza, DV4 developed a new website which features a variety of imagery from the restaurant, as well as detailed information about each of the chain’s four locations across the country. EE Group has also taken a support contract with DV4 to manage the three websites on an ongoing basis.
DV4, who were recently awarded the Grand Prix at the Golden Spider Awards for the new TV3 website, specialises in rich media websites, video encoding and content management services, webcasts, high-end presentations and digital signage systems.
