The team at Galway based SpunOut.ie are appealing to the web community to rally behind the popular youth organisation as voting starts for the annual Net Visionary Awards.
SpunOut.ie, which is an independent charity working to empower young people using the web, has been nominated in the Social Contribution Category of the prestigious awards, operated by the Irish Internet Association.
Susan Quirke from SpunOut.ie said "we're over the moon about this. It's fantastic to get recognised at this level and we are hoping people get behind us and help take SpunOut.ie to the next level by voting for us online. We have big plans in the pipeline and the prospect of a Net Visionary Award would be a brilliant bow to our belt. Fingers crossed for the awards, which take place on Thursday May 24th."
