Networking & Innovation

A number of new innovations have developed from events ran by the Innovate project.

I host ‘innovation evenings’ on various topics from e-commerce and internet marketing to blogging and ‘what makes a good website’.

From these events, a number of little networks have formed. From these networks, some real ideas are beginning to develop.

1. A number of businesses invloved in various weddings services have come together as a joint venture.

2. A ‘co-op’ type shopping portal is being developed.

3. An ICT network has formed (now with 25 members) who are doing some joint ventures and sub-contracting.

So innovation can come from meeting other people, sharing ideas, bouncing things off one another and getting the best from a group.
