The IIA Conference 2011 will feature two types of Breakout Sessions which will be held throughout Thursday 12 May.
The morning sessions at 11.5am will be hosted conversations about open data and open government, collaborative innovation and what now for Ireland as a international digital services centre hosted by Your Country, Your Call winner Neil Leyden.
Delegates will be invited to choose to participate in one of these three hosted conversations:
- A conversation about collaborative innovation hosted by Amy Neale and Gary Leyden of NDRC
- Seán Baker, Irish Software Association Board and entrepreneur and Peter Finnegan, Dublin City Council host a conversation about Open Data and Open Government.
- Neil Leyden, Your Country, Your Call winner, will host a conversation about his plan for Ireland as an international content services centre.
The afternoon sessions which kick off at 2.15pm will focus on social media strategy, ecommerce, cloud computing and exclusive research from Amárach Research on Smartphone Insights.
Each afternoon session will be repeated twice giving Conference delegates a chance to participate in two breakout sessions.

- Cloud Computing The Hype is over and The Reality is now Dawning presented by the IIA Cloud Computing Working Group.
- Smartphone Insights presented by Amárach Research.
The sessions are designed to be as interactive as possible followed by extensive and inclusive Q&A. Each session is 90 minutes long with a tea/ coffee break at 3.45pm.
This is a unique opportunity to get the views, opinions and advice from key players in the industry.
