Time : Registration and drinks reception from 6pm
Location : Westbury Hotel

In a unique and landmark collaboration, the Irish Internet Association, Irish Software Association, Irish Computer Society, IBEC, Irish Software Innovation Network and EuroCloud Ireland are pleased to present The Definitive Cloud Computing Debate. In recognition of the importance and game-changing opportunities that cloud computing can bring to all businesses, large and small and across all sectors, we are pleased to host the cross-organisational debate on cloud computing.

  • Debate facilitated by John Kennedy, Silicon Republic
  • Speakers include
    • Hasan Nasiri, Enterprise Architecture Group, Bank of America
    • Conor O'Riordan, CEO, Tradefacilitate.com
    • Tim Willoughby, Assistant Director, LGCSB
    • Torstein Harildstad, CEO, Software Innovation, Norway

With Ireland as the home to the world's leading ICT companies, with a burgeoning indigenous entrepreneurial community and with the commercial imperative to manage expenditure and maximise speed of innovation, cloud solutions provide the gateway to growth for many.

This challenging and open debate amongst industry thought leaders from a cross-section of technology and consumer businesses will allow us to deal directly with the issues around the cloud and address cloud detractions. We will emerge with a balanced position on the cloud and mark the path for Ireland in this sector, re-enforcing our leadership role in this space.

Drinks reception to begin at 6.00pm with the debate to start promptly at 7.00pm.

Set in the prestigious Westbury Hotel, canapés and drinks will be provided and the event will be a great networking opportunity.
