Cloud Computing in practice: How companies are moving to the cloud

Event Date : 23 Sep 2010

Time : 7.30am breakfast, 8.30am - 12.30pm Seminar
Location : Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Dublin 4

While everyone is talking of the benefits of moving to the cloud the real challenge arises when moving from theory to practise. What are other companies doing, how does it fit in with organisations’ overall strategies, how are companies overcoming the risks and obstacles associated with moving to the cloud? This half-day seminar will provide delegates with an insight into the realities of moving to the cloud.

Delegates will learn through case studies and company experience how companies have moved applications to the cloud, what are the risks and obstacles and their vision of what cloud computing offers for their organisation. Finally, the latest national and international survey information will enable delegates to learn what’s working, what’s not and benchmark their organisation.
