Course Outline

Introduction to video editing

We will provide you with a simple step by step process and training guide so as you can quickly start editing your own videos and adding basic company branding and simple effects. 

How to shoot a video

Some of the basics so as you can start making your videos more professional. We will cover lighting, setting a scene and simple techniques that will make your editing much easier to achieve.

Using the most cost effective equipment 

How to pick the right camera for the job at hand. Walking you through some of the basic equipment that you should be using to create those professional looking videos. All budgets catered for. 

Distributing your video online 

Once you have your finished video the next step is spreading it out online so as people can see it. We will take you through some of the simple distribution channels to ensure that your video gets as big an audience as it deserves. We will cover everything from social media to the correct file formats to be using.

How to build a community on YouTube 

Youtube will more than likely be the platform that you want to target most with your video and we will show you some of the simple tips and tricks that will help you to grow your YouTube community.

Creating a viral video 

The last session will be a practical workshop where we will create the story board and mechanics behind a viral video for online distribution.
