Who is this workshop for?
This workshop requires a basic knowledge of Web Analytics. If you have no experience it would be helpful to attend the workshop Web Analytics 101 on 14 April prior to attending 202.
Google Analytics will be used to illustrate points and complete exercises during the course of this workshop.
Practical work will be carried out on the PCs provided in the training room at the IPA.
NOTE: We will make the screen cast "How to set up Google Analytics on your site" available on our blog. This will cover the entire process of setting up a GA account from scratch and tagging your site to send data to your GA account.

What will you get out of it?
On completion of this workshop you will have vastly improved analytics skills. This will make it easier to get actionable insights from your data, which can then be used to improve the design of your site and optimise traffic.
You will also be able to identify website areas that require improvement and be able to measure the Return on Investment from any work that occurs.
The workshop will conclude with a short session on the hot topics in Web Analytics and the future direction of the field.

The course will be held in the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), 57-61 Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Click here for a map and directions.
Parking is limited at the IPA and is on a first-come, first-serve basis only. There is on-street metered parking also. Alternatively, the IPA is adjacent to Lansdowne Road DART station - exit the station onto Lansdowne Road, turn left and the IPA is 10m further on your left.
