As part of our ongoing series of events with the IIA Social Media | Working Group, we are holding an afternoon seminar giving the behind the scenes of digital video & audio content and examining how to maximise its impact.

This event will take a look at some of the possibilities for video and audio content to drive your business online as well as case studies of how it has been done successfully to date. The speakers will give you an insight into how to effectively use and maximise these media.

About the Speakers

  • Mr Conor Lynch (Managing Director)

    Connector

    Conor Lynch is the current Chair of the Irish Internet Association Social Media Working Group and was voted IIA ‘Internet Marketer of the Year’ in 2005.  He manages Connector which is an Irish social media business specialising in creating connections online and offline through events, training & consulting.

    Conor has almost 12 years of internet marketing experience on both client & agency side.  He has managed projects for numerous SMEs, Startups and brands like RaboDirect, Canon, Toyota, Nokia, Coca-Cola, Vodafone & Guinness.

  • Ms Lucy Campbell (Marketing Director)

    RTE Publishing

    Lucy Campbell is Marketing Director of RTÉ Publishing.  Publishing manages five leading RTÉ Brands: RTÉ.ie, RTÉ Player, RTÉ Guide, RTÉ Aertel and RTÉ News Now.  Lucy has responsibilities for Strategic planning, Brand management and Marketing communications and implementation for each of these services.

    Lucy was part of the cross functional project team comprised of Production, Technology, and Multimedia that brought RTÉ Player to market, and directed the Strategic research, Brand development and Consumer marketing launch of RTÉ Player.   

    Lucy has 15 years consumer marketing experience in the publishing media industry spanning both print and online digital media.

  • Ms Aoife Mahon (Offline Marketing Manager)

    RaboDirect - The Straight Talking Online Bank

    Aoife Mahon is Offline Marketing Manager at RaboDirect.ie responsible for the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and communication strategies that support RaboDirect’s overall business objectives and, in particular, their business and personal savings product objectives. As brand guardian, she is responsible for the effective promotion of the RaboDirect.ie brand credentials across all offline and online channels. 

    Prior to joining RaboDirect.ie in 2005, Aoife held senior marketing roles with Bank of Ireland, Enable Ireland and Royal Liver Assurance.  Aoife is a graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and also holds a Diploma in Interactive and Direct Marketing from the IDM.

  • Mr Fred Caballero (Web Project Manager)

    Channelship Ltd

    Fred is a Web Project Manager and Social Media Consultant at Channelship, web agency (Shortlisted, Best Videocaster. Irish Web Awards 2009) 
    He works with key accounts on social media strategy & training. 
    Fred is also Co-Founder of Bloggertone.com: a space that allows people in business to access and share useful business information and opinions, constantly updated by the collaborative effort of selected business bloggers.

  • Mr. Dónal Rice (Senior ICT Advisor)

    Centre for Excellence in Universal Design, NDA

    Dónal Rice in the Senior ICT Advisor for the NDA Centre for Excellence in Universal Design (CEUD) which was launched in October 2007.  The CEUD is dedicated to the principle of universal access, enabling people in Ireland to participate in a society that takes account of human difference and to interact with their environment to the best of their ability.  Dónal has responsibility for the NDA IT Accessibility Guidelines and formerly worked extensively with many public sector departments and agencies on the NDA's Excellence through Accessibility Awards.  

    Dónal holds a BA in Maths and English from University College Dublin, a post graduate diploma in IT from Dublin City University and is currently completing an MSc in Computing from Griffith College Dublin.

  • Mr Peter O'Neill (Lawyer)

    Mason Hayes+Curran Solicitors

    Peter O'Neill is a lawyer in Mason Hayes + Curran's commercial department, specialising in commercial contracts with a particular focus on the technology sector.  Peter's practice encompasses intellectual property and technology law, data protection and general commercial law issues.  He has a specific interest in the legal issues and challenges raised by the increasingly pervasive use of online digital media by businesses.   Peter sits on the IIA's Legal Working Group.

  • Mr Sebastien Missoffe (Director for YouTube EMEA Online Sales & Operations)

    Google (Ireland) Ltd

    Sebastien joined Google 4 years ago and is currently Director for YouTube, EMEA Online Sales and Operations. He was previously Head of South Europe for Online Sales with responsibility for advertisers and agencies in France, Spain and Italy. Prior to Google, Sebastien spent 9 years with L'Oreal in sales and marketing positions including launching a new men skincare brand for Lancome. Sebastien is Franco-Swiss, he holds an MBA from INSEAD and speaks 5 languages including Greek. He is based at Google's EMEA headquarters in Dublin, the second largest office within the Google network.
