Board of Directors

  • David Kerr


    David is Founder and Managing Director of - Ireland's favourite personal finanace price comparison and switching service, launched in 2010.

    David holds a BSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from University College Dublin and an MSc. in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers Tekniska Högskola in Gothenburg, Sweden.

    David was elected to the Board of the Irish Internet Association in 2010, Vice-Chairperson in 2011 and Chairperson in 2013.

  • Jason Roe


    Jason Roe is an Internet Consultant who specialises in web development, search engine optimisation (SEO) and social media. He has been working in the Internet and Technology sector for the last six years and was previously involved in a number of high profile projects such as,, and more recently in social media innovations by Enterprise Ireland.

    Jason is a strong advocate of blogging, coworking and the development of regional events, networking and training opportunities. He is active at the grassroots level and is involved in organising BTW meetups and See Jason's IIA election manifesto.

    David was appointed to the IIA Board in 2009.

  • Ian Lucey


    Ian Lucey is the Founder of Lucey Technology Limited and serves as its Chief Executive Officer.

    Mr Lucey has 10 years experience providing software solutions to accountants and lawyers in the Irish & UK markets. He served as Sales Manager of Sage Ireland, Country Manager of 3Sixty Group and Customer Services Manager of Apex Software. Throughout his career he has gained huge experience and understanding of the application of technical software solutions to practical business situations.

    Prior to establishing Lucey Technology, Mr. Lucey served as Sales Director with Relate Software. During his time with Relate Software they achieved the following awards: Deloitte Fast 50. EMEA 500, Microsoft Worldwide Innovation Finalist and UK software satisfaction winner. Mr. Lucey is a graduate of the Irish Management Institute in Business and Accounting.

  • Eamonn Grant

    Eamonn is Head of Online for The AA in Ireland. He is also a founder having launched, as well as several other successful businesses. With a serious passion for social media, blogging and all things digital, Eamonn has managed to successfully develop brands online by using social media and online marketing tools as his main route to market. Nominated for several web and social media awards over the years, his success speaks for itself. The AA has some of the most avid and loyal social followers through @AARoadwatch @AAWeatherwatch and its other profiles. It has big plans to really capitalise on its brand and level of engagement over the next 12 months which Eamonn will talk about.Flowers | Made Easy is another tremendous story of success in which Eamonn harnessed social media.

  • Nóirín Ní Laocha

    Nóirín Ní Laocha is Head of eChannels at KBC Bank Ireland. She is responsible for developing the strategy and delivering the commercial performance of the bank’s digital channels.

    Prior to this, Nóirín held a number of marketing roles in KBC including Senior Manager for Brand and Marketing Communications. Prior to joining KBC in 2006 Nóirín worked for Bank of Ireland, Superquinn and Paddy Power in a variety of marketing and customer experience roles.


    Nóirín holds a BComm from NUIG, a Masters in Business Studies from UCD and Postgrad in Digital Marketing from DCU.

  • Stephen O'Leary

    Stephen O’Leary is a media analyst at Olytico, an online media and social media monitoring and analysis company.

    As well as an Irish and international client list, research and analysis carried out by Olytico has been used by major national and international broadcasters including RTE, TV3, BBC and The Washington Post.

    Stephen is a World Economic Forum Young Global Shaper and a highly regarded conference speaker having addressed audiences at events including the Sport and New Media Conference in Paris, the Dublin Web Summit, DMX, The MBA Conference and the National Digital Media and Marketing Summit.

    When he’s not analysing data, Stephen also lectures in Online Journalism in Griffith College Dublin.

  • Mary Carty

    Mary Carty is an entrepreneur, CEO of BAFTA nominated agency Over the past ten years, she has built a startup, cofounded a conference and run a digital agency. Carty is passionate about building long-term, profitable businesses whose core product or service comes from creative practices. She is an experienced startup mentor, helping companies scale and source investment; while communicating their story from day one. Mary is an international speaker and author, her second book, "Sell Artist Sell" is due for publication next year.

  • Rob Cumiskey

    Rob is an entrepreneur, advisor and experienced marketing consultant with a penchant for brand, community building and mobile startups. He is Founder and CEO of Prospr, a mobile health startup working to connect busy people with health professionals and give them the tools that they need to live happier, healthier and more productive lives.

    Prior to Prospr, Rob worked with Hailo as Global Marketing Manager, launching the app to the Irish market and subsequently working across 17 cities in 6 countries, focusing predominantly on EMEA. Rob has also worked in start-ups and digital agencies such as Simply Zesty, RMG and McCann Blue.

  • Michael Wallace

    Michael is currently an independent business consultant who has worked in Cloud publishing for over 15 years, with extensive experience in both the public and private sector managing businesses in Ireland and International operations including Topjobs plc, IDox plc & INM Media. 

  • Martin Casey

    Martin is co-founder and Managing Director of Arekibo, a digital media company dedicated to helping organisations understand and maximise the true potential of digital communications. Arekibo has 5 divisions, Arekibo Digital one of Ireland’s largest digital media agencies, Arekibo Web delivering web design and development services, FirstPageon providing search engine optimisation strategy, Arekibo Mobile an app and mobile consultancy and ArekiboVentures a seed capital fund.

    Arekibo’s clients include an eclectic range of organisations from government departments to publically traded companies to new and emerging start ups. Arekibo clients include Bank of Ireland, Department of Foreign Affairs, Dublin Airport Authority, Fyffes Plc, Microsoft, RTE and Today FM.

    Martin has been working in the internet Industry since 1996 and has advised clients in Ireland, Europe and the USA on how to develop and implement their internet strategies. Martin is active in promoting digital media in Ireland and Europe. He is the Irish representative for the World Summit Awards (WSA), a global competition which promotes the best in global e-Content solutions and ICT applications. He is also a regular juror for the Europrix awards, a Europe wide multimedia competition for under 30s. In Ireland, Martin created the Graduate Category for the Golden Spiders.

    Martin is actively involved in a number of business angel networks investing in digital and technology start-ups. Prior to co-founding Arekibo, Martin was a co-founder of an ebusiness consultancy that was acquired in 2000 by the Nasdaq listed Breakaway Solutions.

    Martin Casey was appointed to the IIA Board at the AGM on the 2nd November 2011.

  • Sean Early

    Previously Seán worked in Commercial Production for two of Dublin's top radio stations at UTV and developed their digital strategies and online properties. For the past two years he has worked in all things digital, PR and social media swapping radio for agency life. Heading up Slattery Communications' digital division working on brands such as Gala Retail, HB Ice Cream, BIC and Sudocrem, Seán is a 24-hour digital native with an addiction to his phone, chocolate and classic cars.
